Volunteer Opportunities

 

Townhouse Vi is run by homeowners who volunteer.  Volunteering is a great way to meet your neighbors, feel a sense of community, keep the mind and body engaged, and have fun while doing it.  Also, volunteering keeps the Association's dues at a very reasonable level.  Other HOAs hire management and contract for landscaping services to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars.  So you can see, there are a host of reasons to volunteer.

Townhouse VI is blessed with over 30 homeowners volunteering at any one time.  The opportunities encompass areas including:   business, social, architectural, welcoming, landscaping, roads, nominating, financial and working with the GV Council.  Most of these areas have an associated committee with team members.  The largest area to volunteer in is landscaping, where eight to fifteen homeowners meet each week on Tuesday mornings to maintain our desert landscape.

If you wish to join many of your neighbors by volunteering, please contact a board member or the committee chair in your area of interest.  If an area is particularly short of volunteers or there is a need for a specific skill, it will be posted on the website's Home page.  Thanks for considering volunteering.
